Privacy, in plain words

The short version

  • No accounts, no sign-up, no ads.
  • The tools run in your browser. What you type into them (like your wake-up time) isn't stored by us.
  • We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't track individuals.
  • With your OK, we also use Google Analytics to see which tools get used, so we know what to improve.
  • When you tap an App Store or Google Play button, we count the click (store, button, country, time) before sending you to the store. No cookies, no IP address stored.

What Google Analytics collects

Pages you visit, roughly where you are (country/city level), your device and browser type, how you arrived (for example from Google search), and clicks on things like the Calculate button or app store badges. Google Analytics doesn't store your full IP address. It uses cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to tell visits apart.

Your choice

If you're in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland or Turkey, we ask before turning analytics on. Everyone can change their choice any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can also block analytics with your browser settings or an extension.

Who handles the data

WakeUpKit is hosted on Cloudflare and uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC). See Google's privacy policy.
